The Frangipani Langkawi Resort & Spa lies on Pantai Tengah, southwest of Langkawi, where a beach of soft golden sand stretches over 400 metres. Only 15 minutes way from the Langkawi International Airport, 25 minutes away from Kuah town and 10 minutes walk to the hustle and bustle of Pantai Tengah shopping arcades.

The night time sky-net for star trekking and moon-watching is also awe-inspiring. It is a hideaway which offers a peaceful, informal and thoroughly relaxing atmosphere for the weary traveller to be rejuvenated and to let the spirit soar.

The Mentari Beachfront Pavilion serves as an "El-Fresco" Dining Restaurant which provides a great array of fresh, light and natural refreshments and, Seafood or Western specialities, both from the Wok and Grill - to pamper either Western or Oriental fancies. Beach-front Barbecues are the order of the day on some evenings

Room-service is also available throughout the day. The Pool Bar, which overlooks the free-form swimming pool and the sea, offers a selection of fresh fruits drinks and cocktails, and other beverages. The popular Coco-Jam Fun-Pub is a good meeting place playing current hits and offering pool and darts.

Mentari BeachFront Grill - Offering local and western dishes for lunch and dinner from 11.30 a.m until 10.30 p.m.

Coco Jam Fun Pub and Disco - The most happening night spot on Langkawi island. Open daily from 10 p.m. onwards, playing current hits and also offering darts and pool.

By Air
Daily flights are available on Malaysia Airlines & Air Asia from Kuala Lumpur and Silk Air operates daily from Singapore.

By Road and Ferry
From Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Kedah it is 5-6 hours drive & to Kuala Perlis about 7 hours. There are daily ferry services to Langkawi from Kuala Kedah & Kuala Perlis from 0830-1830 hours.

By Rail
Keretapi Tanah Melayu offers rail transport from Kuala Lumpur to Alor Setar (Kedah) & Arau (Perlis), after which you can take a taxi or bus to Kuala Perlis or Kuala Kedah then a ferry to Langkawi.
